In celebration of Women’s History Month, our March panel discussion in South San Francisco spotlighted trailblazing women who have shattered barriers in the biotech industry. Moderated by WIB-National President Dianne Keen-Kim, the panel featured an incredible lineup of speakers: Trish Costello (Portfolia), Svetlana Lucas (Scribe Therapeutics), Jennifer Grandis (UCSF), Maryam Abdul-Kareem (Arcellx), and Karen Boezi (Thirona Bio). Each panelist shared their unique journey with authenticity, grace, and strength, leaving the audience deeply moved. One attendee summed it up perfectly: “What a great event!
